I’m not seeing my settlement.
With the game offline, Chronicle uses its last good snapshot. A fresh installation may show demonstration data instead of your settlement. To connect the game, close Medieval Dynasty first, check that compatible UE4SS is installed, then use Install / update collector from the Chronicle tray menu. Back up your game saves first. Don’t hot-reload the collector.

No. Choose Use built-in responses on first launch. Optional local AI involves third-party software and model downloads with your approval. A cloud provider is also optional; it receives selected letter/game context when you choose to use it.
How do I use the dashboard on my tablet?
The game and Chronicle run on your PC. Enable LAN access from the tray, then use the private pairing link on a tablet connected to your trusted home network. LAN access is off by default. Its HTTP connection isn’t encrypted, so don’t expose it through public port forwarding or share the pairing link here.
What happens when Chronicle checks for an update?
Version 0.2.0-beta.2 and later can check for an announcement once at startup. You choose whether to open this page and install an update yourself. Nothing installs automatically. You can disable startup checks from the tray and still check manually. Beta.1 users need to install a newer release manually before this feature is available.

Installation & file verification
After downloading an approved release, run the Setup.exe installer and launch Dynasty Chronicle from Start. The app bundles its runtime.

Installation & file verification
After downloading an approved release, open a terminal in the download folder and run:
sh Dynasty-Chronicle-0.2.0-beta.2-Linux-x64-Install.runThe installer asks before installing into your user folder and creates a menu shortcut. It does not need sudo. Don’t use --no-sandbox.

Before installing or updating
Back up your game saves and Chronicle records. Close the game before installing, updating, or disabling the collector. Compatible UE4SS is installed separately. Read-only collection does not guarantee crash-free operation.
